Stage Black Steel Core Round Sling Specifics

The black outer sleeve is made from a double layer of black polyester. The double layer provides load protection thanks to its softness whilst simultaneously protecting the steel wire core.

These slings incorporate an inspection cover secured with Velcro which enables easy inspection of the wire core to check for damaged wires or corrosion. The sling identification tag can also be found here.

The steel core provides optimum strength whilst retaining good flexibility with the bonus of complying with rigging codes of practice.

Steel Core Round Sling Sizes Available

There are 6 sizes to choose from, each having a 2 tonne working load limit. Sling circumferences range from 1 metre up to 8 metres which gives effective working lengths (EWL) ranging from 0.5 metres up to 4 metres. The slings are 50mm wide and come with a 5:1 safety factor, they are fully certified.

Besides these wire core round slings we can also supply black chain slings and standard black round slings with a soft fibre core. Black ratchet straps are another option for consideration although these can not be used for lifting, only securing loads.
